West Coast Regional Meeting
June 16 & 17, 2008
San Francisco, CA
The Auditing Roundtable's West Coast Regional meeting will be in San Francisco on June 16 and 17, 2008. The law firm of Bingham McCutchen has graciously donated the use of their training room for this meeting. Bingham is in Three Embarcadero Center (see www.bingham.com).
Organizational Collaboration
We are continuing our tradition of collaborating with other professional organizations with an interest in environmental management and the professional practice of environmental auditing. We've invited each organization to have a member present on EH&S/Sustainability as it applies to their sector. They're helping to promote the meeting, and their members will enjoy AR Member registration fees. Please visit their websites, and promote our meeting to your colleagues in these groups.
Agenda
Much of the program this year will again focus on climate change, California's AB 32, how companies should prepare for compliance - and the roles and expectations of auditors. We are planning a CEU course entitled "A Carbon Footprint 101", which will be partly based on the protocols of the California Climate Action Registry - and we're continuing a three-year tradition of offering this course free to pre-registrants for meeting!
