EHS AUDIT SKILLS COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Auditing Roundtable is pleased to offer its new one day EHS auditing skills course. This course has been designed to provide auditors with the EHS auditing skills consistent with updated BEAC EHS auditing performance practices and standards. It will be an invaluable preparatory course for those working on obtaining certification as a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA) in any discipline. It will also serve as an excellent refresher course for those just wishing to enhance their EHS auditing skills. This course is a shorter version of the AR two day basic auditing skills course and will cover the following topics:

·         Ethics and Standards of Conduct for Auditors

·         Pre-Audit Activities

·         On-Site Audit Activities

·         Post-Audit Activities

In order to condense the course to one day a few modules in the two day course such as how to plan and design an EHS audit program and identifying internal management basic controls have been excluded. This auditing skills course does not include the environmental media knowledge or the health and safety technical knowledge that are separate 2 1/2-day training courses also offered by the AR.
