“I decided to register for the Auditing Roundtable Environmental Compliance Auditing course after much research and review of other such types of training provided by various groups in the country. I felt, even before attending the course, that I had made the right decision. That feeling was fully justified after completing the 3-day course taught by Gary Lucks. I have attended a number of seminars, conferences and training courses in the last few years and none have compared to the breadth and quality of the information provided in Mr. Lucks’ presentation. Though the class binder was so large that it literally had to be shipped home for the attendees, we covered every bit of the information in that binder. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so “accomplished” upon leaving an educational event before. Gary was a phenomenal teacher and I think at one point I even asked him if I could borrow his brain to do a quick download. His teaching style was engaging and superbly informative as the entire class was able to integrate the course materials into their own day to day operations, even though there were probably 5 or 6 industries represented. I would recommend this course to both novice and experienced EHS professionals in any industry.”
I attended the Environmental Compliance course during the Fall Auditing Roundtable Conference. I found the course to be well balanced, providing a great review of the US
Based regulations as well as providing practical examples of where the laws apply and ways to review/audit the regulations. Gary Luck led the instruction, providing examples from his experience during audits which really helped my overall understanding. Gary kept the class engaged where each member shared their experiences and issues they have faced. We also had short team assignments that further promoted interaction among the course members. The class provided a workbook that covers environmental regulations/laws that will be an excellent reference tool for me as we go forward with our compliance efforts.
