One of the controversial issues in the development of these audit standards has been, and continues to be, competency requirements for individual auditors. This webinar will outline the issues underlying this controversy and discuss what the resolution of these issues may mean for both individual auditors and audit program managers.

BIOGRAPHY
Ms. Dunmire assists organizations with the implementation of integrated management systems and the development of EHS and management system audit programs, as well as the identification and evaluation of compliance with EHS legal requirements. Previously, she was an industrial hygienist in industry, an Assistant Regional Counsel with the United States Environmental Protection Agency and an environmental attorney with a major law firm in Chicago. In all, Ms. Dunmire has over 25 years of experience in the environmental, health and safety fields.
Ms. Dunmire is a frequent speaker at professional conferences and in-house corporate meetings on subjects as diverse as emergency preparedness, product stewardship, professional ethics, internal auditing and international standard-setting.
She has been active in the American Industrial Hygiene Association for over 25 years and is currently the Chair of the AIHA Standards Council. She represents AIHA as a member of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to TC 207. Ms. Dunmire participates in the development of the ISO 19011 as a U.S. Expert to ISO TC 176/SC3/WG16 (Joint Working Group for the Revision of ISO 19011).
