CEU Course - Crisis Management Basics (presented by Henry Balikov, GEC)

How many times will you try the same thing hoping for different results?  Have you assured your team that “the truth will triumph over all?”  Have you felt pressured into making a peremptory “best guess” as to the damage in order to get out in front of the issue?  Have you advised “sticking to the facts and keeping feelings out of it?”  Do you fall into using language your audience doesn’t understand?  Do you believe that the media have to be treated as potential enemies?

All crisis management cannot be reduced to a three-hour course but in three hours we plan to cover:  an analysis of common crisis management mistakes; an expansion of your understanding of potential crisis categories; training in the real issues in crisis management; and, some role-playing practice in dealing immediately with a crisis.
